Barbara L. Pearce, Chair and CEO of Pearce Real Estate, is pleased to announce that Senior Commercial Specialist John Bergin spearheaded a real estate transaction that will bring a third Edward D. Jones & Co. L.P. office to Milford.
Bergin is the listing agent for several office spaces at 247 Broad Street along the Milford Green, one of which will be the new office of Christopher Durkin, a financial advisor for Edward Jones. The 1,711-square-foot office is currently being renovated to accommodate the needs of the financial services firm. Durkin anticipates an early June opening. Edward Jones joins other professional services housed within the building, as well as medical and therapeutic offices.
In negotiating the long-term lease, Bergin represented the owner of the building, Diving Rock Partners, LLC. The tenant was represented by T.R. Durkin of William Raveis Real Estate in Shelton.
This year, Bergin celebrates 40 years of work in the commercial real estate industry, 12 of that with Pearce Real Estate. He is the recipient of numerous real estate awards. Bergin is also known for his community service. He is past president of the Milford Literacy Center and The Milford Club, past director of the Milford Chamber of Commerce, and past chairman of literacy for the Devon Rotary Club. He is a member of the Greater New Haven Association of REALTORS® (now known as the New Haven Middlesex REALTORS®), and the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of NHMR.
