Barbara L. Pearce, Chair and CEO of Pearce Real Estate, is pleased to announce that Senior Commercial Broker Carl Russell has added to his extensive list of professional awards and accomplishments.
Last month Russell received the New Haven Middlesex REALTORS® Commercial Investment Division (CID) 2022 Deal of the Year Award Spirit of CID Award Retail Sale, an honor he shared with Michael Richetelli, president and designated broker of Colonial Properties. Russell represented the buyer, Carlson Road Limited Partnership in Woodbridge, and Richetelli represented the seller, General Asset Company, LLC. of Orange, in the sale of a building at 968 Chapel Street in New Haven. This was the replacement property in a Section 1031 Exchange that Russell brokered for the buyer after selling their property on Carlson Road in Orange.
The 9,250-square-foot property is in a prime location in downtown New Haven. It housed the first-ever Ann Taylor women’s apparel shop, which closed in 2020. The investment property sold for $2,795,000.
Russell and Richetelli received their Deal of the Year Award at an annual CID awards dinner held at Amarante’s Sea Cliff in New Haven, on March 23.
